Job summary

PTS Advance is seeking mid- to senior-level Structural Engineers for Oil & Gas projects. Office-based contract roles located in Billings, MT; Salt Lake City, UT; or Bellingham, WA. Three contracts available, one through Jan 2027 and two through Mar 2028.

Responsibilities include developing calculations, designing steel/concrete structures, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and conducting periodic field visits to monitor progress and ensure conformance.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering.
• EIT license required.
• 6+ years in structural engineering.
• Knowledge of steel and concrete structures, foundations and retaining walls.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word and RISA3D.
• Working knowledge of IBC, ASCE 7, AISC and ACI.
• TWIC card eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Develop calculations and specifications for feasibility studies, permits and construction packages.
• Design steel and concrete structures, foundations and retaining walls with code compliance.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams on industrial and petrochemical projects.
• Conduct periodic field visits to monitor construction progress and evaluate design conformance.
