Job summary

EDG is seeking a Sr. Structural Engineer to design steel and concrete structures and pipelines for onshore and offshore oil and gas facilities.

You will guide the team through conceptual engineering to construction, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and project documentation. The role requires coordination with Designers, Drafters and other engineers, with opportunities to lead multi-discipline projects and mentor junior staff.

Qualifications

• Requires a BS in Structural or Civil Engineering.
• Ten years of oil and gas facilities design experience.
• P.E. designation strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of AISC, ACI and ASCE design guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Conceptual, preliminary and detailed structural analysis and design for onshore and offshore oil & gas facilities.
• Perform structural analysis using SACS suite (in-place, loadout, transportation, fatigue, non-linear).
• Reference current industry codes and standards (AISC, ASCE, API, AWS, ISO).
• Interface with project managers, engineers, drafters and support staff.
• Develop calculations and documentation using Mathcad, Word and Excel.
• Manage Structural Engineering portion of multi-discipline projects; mentor junior engineers.
