Job summary

RINA is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join our Plant Engineering division in Houston, TX, with flexible options to work from Boston, MA or Chicago/Lisle, IL offices. You will design and evaluate steel and reinforced concrete structures and foundations for energy and industrial facilities.

You will lead technical delivery, mentor junior engineers, ensure code compliance, coordinate with clients and vendors, and contribute to project success across feasibility to construction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering is required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required; SE license preferred.
• Minimum 6 years of structural engineering experience on oil, gas or heavy industrial projects.
• Experience with structural design and analysis software and codes is essential.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute design and analysis of steel and RCC structures and foundations.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and manage interface data.
• Review technical documentation for accuracy and compliance with codes.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
