Job summary

RINA is seeking a Structural Engineer to design and evaluate steel and reinforced concrete structures for energy and industrial facilities. You will coordinate with piping, mechanical, civil and electrical teams, mentor junior engineers, and deliver technical work with strict quality standards in a fast-paced project environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural engineering.
• Minimum 6 years of structural engineering experience on oil/gas, petrochemical or heavy industrial projects.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license; Illinois SE license preferred.
• Experience in structural design/analysis; ability to plan scopes, estimate hours/quantities, track budget/schedule.
• Strong knowledge of industry codes (IBC, ASCE7, ACI 318, AISC 360/341, API 650).
• Proficiency with structural software and AutoCAD/Revit/ Tekla/Navisworks.
• Excellent written/oral communication and collaborative teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute advanced structural engineering tasks for steel and reinforced concrete structures and foundations.
• Develop engineering deliverables including design basis documents, calculations, specs, drawings and quantity estimates.
• Review data and participate in 3D model reviews and clash resolution with other disciplines.
