Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering is required.
• 7+ years of structural engineering experience, including nuclear design projects.
• Strong background in seismic design and structural mechanics.
• Nuclear industry design experience is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with ASME Section III, ACI, ASCE, AISC, IBC standards.
• Proficiency with SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Tekla, and Revit.
• Ability to work with limited supervision and communicate technical results clearly.
• Experience with NRC or regulatory interactions preferred.
• PE license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural engineering and design for complex nuclear and industrial facilities.
• Develop and evaluate seismic qualified structural systems.
• Perform calculations involving strength of materials and dynamic analysis.
• Review models and drawings for compliance with codes.
• Collaborate with other disciplines and suppliers to develop practical designs.
• Support regulatory interactions with NRC as required.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to project teams.
