Job summary

Ecomod is seeking a Principal Structural Engineer to lead the structural design and compliance for its modular homes in Hudson, CO. You will ensure safety, durability, and regulatory alignment across CO and CA markets, with a focus on scalable, factory-integrated solutions.

The role demands licensure in CO and CA, extensive modular construction experience, and leadership across cross-functional teams to deliver innovative, durable homes.

Qualifications

• Active PE licenses in Colorado (Civil PE) and California (SE) in good standing.
• 8–10 years of progressive structural engineering experience in building design.
• Experience with modular construction and prefabrication.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural design for Cottage ADUs, Single-Family/Duplex, and Multi-Family modules.
• Apply DfMA and MMC to improve factory production efficiency.
• Navigate Colorado and California codes, including Title 24, for compliance.
• Seal engineering plans and permit documentation for regulatory approvals.
