Job summary

The US Army Corps of Engineers is seeking a regional senior Structural Engineer and design coordinator for the POD Honolulu District. The role develops structural designs and coordinates inputs across disciplines for diverse military construction projects, with technical reviews and field support in the Pacific region.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering from ABET-accredited program.
  • PE licensure in good standing required.
  • 1 year specialized structural engineering experience at GS-11 level.

Responsibilities

  • Develops, reviews, and evaluates complex structural designs and calculations.
  • Coordinates structural requirements with A-E, civil, mechanical, electrical disciplines.
  • Provides field and on-site technical assistance during construction.
  • Serves as district-level technical specialist on complex structural issues.
