Job summary

Thomas & Hutton is seeking a Structural Engineer to advance your career by leading design for multi-disciplinary projects across the Southeast. You will mentor engineers, collaborate with clients and deliver robust structural solutions.

The role requires a PE license, strong code knowledge, and hands-on experience with Revit, AutoCAD, and analysis software. On-site work with occasional travel and a focus on client service are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a structural focus.
• PE license required; SE certification strongly preferred.
• 8+ years of structural design experience.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, RISA and SAP2000.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for diverse projects.
• Prepare construction documents in Revit and AutoCAD with calculations and specs.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable codes and project standards.
• Mentor and support engineers and interns within the department.
• Coordinate with clients and project teams throughout delivery.
• Manage project tasks to meet scope, schedule, budget and quality.
