Job summary

KFI Engineers is seeking a Structural Engineer III to lead challenging manufacturing projects with a focus on structural design and delivery. You will oversee drawings, field data, and ensure quality while mentoring team members.

The role requires extensive experience, strong communication, and the ability to manage scope, schedule and client expectations. Travel is possible up to 10–15%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with emphasis in Structural Design preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in structural engineering, especially in manufacturing environments.
• Proficient in structural analysis software and codes.
• Ability to lead projects and act as Engineer of Record.
• Strong client relationships and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as discipline lead for multiple projects and mentor team members.
• Act as Engineer of Record on assigned projects.
• Develop scope estimates and manage within budget.
• Oversee drawing production and construction documents.
• Conduct field surveys and integrate data into design.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and provide technical direction.
• Support business development through proposals and client meetings.
