Job summary

KFI Engineers is seeking a Structural Engineer III for manufacturing projects in Cincinnati. This role leads multiple projects, reviews codes and drawings, and ensures design excellence from concept through construction.

You will act as Engineer of Record, oversee budgeting and scope, mentor junior staff, and contribute to client relations and proposals in a collaborative, growth‑oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required with emphasis in Structural Design preferred.
• 10+ years of experience.
• PE certification a plus and multi-state registration desirable.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the discipline lead for multiple concurrent projects and mentor staff.
• Act as Engineer of Record on assigned projects and manage scope within budget.
• Oversee drawings, specifications, and QA reviews for structural work.
• Perform field surveys, verify conditions, and incorporate data into design.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and support business development through proposals.
