Job summary

KFI Engineers is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to lead multiple IPA projects and deliver high-quality structural solutions. You will act as Engineer of Record, coordinate with clients and teams, and drive project performance.

Requires a BS in Civil Engineering, 10+ years of experience, and P.E. or willingness to obtain multi-state registrations within one year. Some travel is expected; comprehensive benefits accompany the role.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering with emphasis in Structural Design.
• 10+ years of experience in structural engineering.
• PE certification in multiple states or plan to obtain within 1 year.
• Strong structural design across industries and materials.
• Experience with structural analysis software (RISA or similar).
• Understanding of related disciplines and construction practices.
• Willingness to travel ~5% domestically.

Responsibilities

• Serve as discipline lead for multiple concurrent projects.
• Act as Engineer of Record on assigned projects.
• Develop scope estimates and manage budget within scope.
• Create project plans and schedules for execution.
• Oversee drawings and specifications for construction documents.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Mentor engineers and designers; provide technical guidance.
• Contribute to proposals and client meetings.
