Job summary

HNTB's Salt Lake City office is seeking a senior engineer to lead multidisciplinary project teams and deliver complex design calculations, reports and drawings. You will collaborate with clients and colleagues to develop concepts, analyses and designs for infrastructure projects.

The role requires an engineering degree with substantial experience and the ability to manage scope, budget and schedules while mentoring junior staff and contributing to proposals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Master's degree in Engineering with 7+ years of relevant experience.
• PhD in Engineering with 6+ years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Uses senior-level technical expertise to consider a broad range of engineering solutions.
• Leads discipline delivery on larger, multi-disciplinary projects with schedule and budget accountability.
• Mentors junior staff and provides technical guidance.
• Coordinates project work with client counterparts and teaming partners.
• Assists with marketing responsibilities, including proposal generation.
• Develops scope of work and level of effort and monitors adherence to scope and budget.
• Oversees completeness and accuracy of the project team's work within the discipline.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
