Job summary

HNTB Corporation in Salt Lake City is seeking a senior engineering professional to produce and modify design calculations, technical reports, and plans for major infrastructure projects. You will consult with the project manager, perform research, and apply engineering criteria to deliver complex, cross-discipline solutions.

You’ll mentor junior staff, lead discipline delivery on multi-disciplinary efforts, and collaborate with clients and partners to meet schedules and budgets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or higher with relevant experience.
• 8+ years of engineering experience for bachelor option; 7+ years with a Master’s; 6+ years with a PhD.
• Utah PE license is preferred or ability to obtain within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Lead discipline delivery on complex projects and mentor staff.
• Coordinate with clients and partners to ensure scope and budget adherence.
• Develop scope of work and level of effort for projects within discipline.
• Provide technical guidance and ensure completeness and accuracy of team output.
• Support marketing efforts and proposal development.
