Job summary

SSOE Group in the United States seeks a Senior Structural Engineer to lead complex industrial and manufacturing projects with multi-discipline teams. You will apply advanced seismic and structural design principles and coordinate specialized engineers to deliver high-quality outcomes.

You’ll mentor junior staff, drive BIM-enabled workflows, and engage clients to define scope, budgets, and schedules. PE/SE licensed professionals with 12+ years of experience are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required and licensure in the state of practice.
• PE or SE license with 12+ years of related experience.
• Working knowledge of BIM collaboration tools (ACC/BIM360, Bluebeam, Navisworks).
• Strong understanding of US building codes (ASCE, ACI, AISC 341, IBC).
• Experience on industrial and manufacturing projects; data center/pharma preferred.

Responsibilities

• Applies extensive engineering knowledge across broad assignments.
• Leads design, calculations, and stamping for licensed staff as needed.
• Represents the firm in meetings to coordinate projects.
• Plans and directs medium to large projects with budget and schedule accountability.
• Provides technical guidance and mentors junior staff.
• Drives business development through client engagement and proposals.
• Ensures compliance with codes, quality, and safety standards.
