Job summary
iENG Design, headquartered in Missouri, seeks a Senior Structural Engineer to join our Engineering team at either Granite City, IL or Chesterfield, MO offices. You will lead structural design and analysis for industrial projects, mentor staff engineers, and ensure code-compliant deliverables.
A PE license and 5+ years of experience are preferred. You will collaborate across disciplines to integrate structural solutions for complex pipe racks, platforms, and equipment supports, scaling with
Qualifications
- Requires BS in civil/structural engineering and PE license.
- Minimum 5+ years of structural engineering experience in industrial/commercial setting.
- Proficient with structural analysis software and industry codes (AISC, ASCE7, IBC, OSHA).
- Experience in design/build, EPC, or mechanical contracting environment preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead structural calculations and analyses for complex projects.
- Prepare and seal drawings and calculations as licensed PE.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to staff engineers.
- Coordinate with piping, mechanical, and process teams for integrated designs.
- Oversee project structural scope and schedule with leadership.
