iENG Design is seeking a qualified professional to join our Engineering team. iENG's method of engineering is unique: We begin with the end in mind, and we challenge everything. We take time to understand the project we want to deliver. We understand the owner's views, use of building, the owner's operation and maintenance capabilities. We look at first cost v. operation cost v. life cycle cost. Every iENG project has a best value and best design---and that's what we deliver. An IMI Company, iENG serves nationwide Fortune 500 clients across the Institutional, Commercial and Industrial markets---there isn't a project our team cannot tackle.
iENG Design is headquartered in Chesterfield, MO and has branch offices in Granite City, IL, Nashville, TN and Charlotte, NC. Services & Capabilities include: Engineering & Design, VDC/BIM Coordination, Construction Support, Scheduling, Commissioning, Retro Commissioning and Inspection Services. iENG currently ranks as one of the largest engineering/design firms by revenue in the region.
We are currently looking for a Senior Structural Engineer to join our Engineering team located at our office in Granite City, IL or in our Chesterfield, MO office. Our ideal candidate for a Senior Structural Engineer is someone who has at least 5 years of experience in a fast-paced, design/build mechanical contracting company or similar.
Reporting directly to the Director of Structural Engineering, this position carries a higher level of ownership and technical responsibility than a staff engineer role - you will serve as a lead-level contributor on complex projects, a quality-control resource for the department, and an informal mentor to less experienced engineers on the team. This is the right role for a licensed engineer who is confident in their technical abilities, thrives in a multi-discipline project setting, and is looking for the opportunity to take real ownership of structural design challenges. You will work across the full scope of the department's structural portfolio and play an important role in shaping how the team approaches its most demanding assignments. Looking ahead, this position is also a natural steppingstone toward department leadership.
Our commitment to diversity and inclusion starts with us. The IMI companies strive to build a team that is truly reflective of the communities we serve in every level of our business. We know that when diverse minds and perspectives come together, the possibilities are limitless.
The iENG team is led by innovative engineers with vast experience across multiple industries. Their passion and understanding of the design & construction process results in a higher level of excellence within our entire engineering & design group. IMI companies know that to tackle the challenging projects we are faced with every day takes a team of creative problem solvers who aren’t afraid to be bold. Which is why IMI companies work every day to create a work environment that gives back to our employees.
Our philosophy is to hire talented people, provide them with the training, tools, and resources to be successful, empower them to go and contribute to the success of the company, and to reward performance. If you’re ready to be a part of our team AND a part of our solution,
