Job summary

DHA is seeking a senior structural engineer to join our Structural Group in Silver Spring, MD. The role focuses on high visibility projects across office, commercial, healthcare, sports, and residential sectors.

Ideal candidates have 6–10 years of structural design experience, PE/SE licensure, and proficiency in RAM, ETABS, RISA, AutoCAD, and REVIT. A limited work-from-home arrangement is available and collaboration with a regional team is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or architectural Engineering (structures).
• PE or SE license required.
• 6 to 10 years of experience in structural design for commercial/institutional projects.

Responsibilities

• Quality control of design calculations and drawings.
• Field reviews for projects under construction and surveys of existing structures.
• Review submittals and respond to RFIs; support construction administration.
• Manage project resources and client communication.
