Job summary

Exyte US, Inc. is seeking a Lead Structural Engineer to develop structural solutions under supervision of Senior Engineers, focusing on buildings and load-bearing structures.

You will collaborate with designers, contractors, and interns, preparing calculations and FE models, while mentoring junior staff and contributing to office standards and procedures. Semiconductors and data centers are among preferred contexts.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s in Engineering required
• Master’s Degree preferred
• PE License or SE License preferred
• NCEES Record preferred
• 8+ years of experience

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with other disciplines and contractors to support the development of design deliverables such as drawings and specifications
• Reviews shop drawings and submittals to understand how design and construction are inter-related
• Attends construction and design verification walks and submit report of observations
• Prepares structural engineering calculations and finite element modelling under the supervision of a Senior Engineer
• Works closely with design and technical teams in leading the development of design deliverables such as reports and Construction Documents, including drawings and specifications
• Analyses and designs the basic structural components of a building or other structure
• Coordinates structural models and drawings with the other design disciplines
• Mentors Interns and junior members of project teams
• Participants in the development of office standards and procedures
• Other duties as assigned
