Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to lead the design and analysis of complex building systems within the Buildings + Places group. You will mentor junior engineers, interpret building codes, and contribute to project delivery with independent technical decisions and collaboration across architects and other disciplines.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering required.
Minimum of 4 years of structural engineering experience or equivalent.
Master's degree in structural engineering is a plus.
PE license preferred; LEED AP certification a plus.

Responsibilities

Lead the structural design and analysis of building systems and primary structural elements with minimal supervision.
Apply engineering principles and codes to make independent technical decisions.
Develop solutions to non-routine engineering challenges using established methods.
Perform and review structural calculations, analyses, and design documentation.
Identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies in analysis results.
Manage tasks to meet project scope, schedule, and budget.
Mentor entry-level and junior engineers.
