Job summary

HDR is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer in Houston to lead structural design efforts for diverse projects in data centers, healthcare, and critical facilities. You will serve as a technical expert and supervise design teams, ensuring robust gravity and lateral analyses while coordinating with other disciplines.

You will apply REVIT, AutoCAD, RAM, ETABS and SAFE, and engage in project management on larger endeavors.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
Minimum 10 years structural engineering experience related to building design.
Professional Engineer (PE) license.
Proficient in REVIT, AutoCAD, RAM, ETABS, SAFE.
Experience in gravity and lateral analysis.
Experience at an architectural/engineering or engineering consulting firm.

Responsibilities

Serve as a technical expert with authority in structural engineering on projects.
Plan and develop projects or design activities.
Plan, organize and supervise work of staff.
Serve as Project Manager for the structural discipline on larger projects.
Perform other duties as needed.
