Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required.
• Minimum 10 years of structural engineering experience for buildings.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Experience with design calculations and layouts.
• Experience with steel, concrete, masonry and wood design.
• Knowledge of gravity and lateral analysis.
• Experience at an architectural/engineering or engineering consulting firm.
• Commitment to employee-owned culture.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a technical expert with authority in structural engineering on projects.
• Plan and develop projects with significant impact on major programs.
• Plan, organize and supervise medium to large teams.
• Mentor and develop younger staff.
• Prepare complete Contract Documents meeting client standards.
• Perform other duties as needed.
