Job summary

DLR Group in Colorado is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to lead design of structural systems for diverse buildings, from K-12 to Mixed Use, using Revit and guiding a team of junior engineers.

You will collaborate with architects and other disciplines, develop work plans and schedules, review shop drawings and RFIs, and contribute to proposals while advancing sustainable design and SE2050 commitments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Civil/Structural/Architectural Engineering.
• 10+ years of building-related structural engineering experience.
• PE license in CA; SE license preferred.
• Experience leading engineering teams.
• Proficient in structural software and BIM (Revit).

Responsibilities

• Lead design of structural systems across multiple sectors.
• Mentor junior staff and coordinate with architects.
• Review shop drawings and RFIs.
• Develop work plans, schedules, budgets, proposals.
• Ensure compliance with codes and sustainable design goals.
