Job summary

Brasfield & Gorrie, LLC is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to lead design and analysis for industrial projects. You will guide technical scopes, mentor staff, and collaborate with operations, preconstruction, and project teams to deliver buildable solutions.

The role requires operating in Responsible Charge where licensing permits, with deep knowledge of codes and extensive experience in reinforced concrete and structural steel. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 6–14+ years of structural engineering and design experience.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lead technical discussions and influence project teams and stakeholders.
• Proficient in structural analysis, modeling, and drafting software.
• Willingness to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform or lead all structural engineering efforts from initial client contact through construction for design-build projects.
• Coordinate structural design with architectural, mechanical, electrical, civil disciplines and internal teams.
• Prepare Structural Narratives, Schematic Designs, and Construction Documents.
• Prepare 2D and 3D structural analysis models; use Revit for drawings.
• Perform Construction Administration duties including review of delegated designs, shop drawings, RFIs, and site visits.
