Lake Superior Consulting is seeking a Structural Engineer IV in Chicago to lead complex projects within our Facilities Engineering group. You will own designs from concept to completion, mentor junior staff, and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver safe, practical solutions.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in structural engineering, an ABET-accredited degree, and PE/EIT credentials. The role offers growth, client interaction, and a substantive salary with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an ABET accredited university.
• 5+ years' experience as a structural engineer.
• PE preferred, EIT required.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural design and analysis calculations using governing codes and standards.
• Provide leadership and guidance to more junior engineers while executing a variety of structural engineering tasks.
• Lead multi-disciplinary project teams and serve as a SME in client meetings.
