Job summary

Lake Superior Consulting is seeking a Structural Engineer IV in Denver to join our growing Facilities Engineering group. You’ll lead complex engineering projects, take ownership, and mentor junior staff, delivering safe, high-quality structural solutions.

Responsibilities include leading design and analysis, coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams, preparing drawings and documents, and presenting technical concepts to clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an ABET accredited university.
• 5+ years’ experience as a structural engineer.
• PE preferred, EIT required.
• Experience with structural analysis and design software.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural design and analysis calculations using governing codes and standards.
• Provide leadership and guidance to junior engineers.
• Lead multi-disciplinary project teams and ensure quality deliverables.
• Prepare CAD drawings or sketches for incorporation into drawings by Designers/Drafters.
• Present technical aspects of a project to clients and team members.
