Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, eligible for licensure in the state of practice.
• PE required or SE licensed with 8+ years of related practical experience.
• Working knowledge of BIM collaboration and review platforms including ACC/BIM360, Bluebeam, and Navisworks.
• Thorough understanding of US building codes and standards (ASCE, ACI, AISC 341, IBC, state amendments).
• Experience with seismic detailing/design for concrete, steel, and foundations.
• Strong client-facing communication and ability to lead technical discussions with architects, contractors, owners.
• Ability to manage multi-discipline coordination, review processes, and change control on complex projects.
• Experience on Industrial and Manufacturing building projects; data center or pharmaceutical projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Applies engineering principles across broad areas of assignments.
• May act as lead project engineer, stamping/sealing drawings as required for licensure.
• Represents the firm in meetings to plan and coordinate a project.
• Plans, coordinates, and directs medium to large engineering projects with budget and schedule oversight.
• Responsible for materials, equipment, and quality decisions.
• Mentor junior engineers and technicians in structural principles and code application.
• Participates in client contact and business development activities.
• Meets with client to define scope, progress, and satisfaction; ensure risk management per codes.
