Job summary

Farnsworth Group, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Structural Engineer to join our team in the United States.

You will provide customer-oriented design and construction services to clients nationwide, with opportunities for growth and a focus on the Western Region. Responsibilities include performing structural analysis and design for building, energy, and industrial structures, developing construction documents, and coordinating with project teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering with emphasis in structures.
• 8–15 years of structural engineering experience.
• PE or SE licensure preferred.
• Experience with design and construction administration of building structures (new and renovation).
• Experience designing with steel, concrete, masonry or wood.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Strong team player in a multi-disciplinary environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for building structures and related systems.
• Perform structural analysis and design for Energy and Industrial structures and related systems.
• Develop construction documents and provide construction administration services.
• Perform site visits, client meetings, and coordination with the project team.
