Farnsworth Group, Inc. in Illinois is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join our team.

You will provide customer-oriented design and construction services to clients nationwide and in the Western Region, contributing to diverse projects and growth opportunities. You will analyze and design building structures, prepare construction documents, and coordinate with project teams through site visits and client meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering, with emphasis in structures
• 8–15 years of structural engineering experience
• PE or SE licensure preferred
• Experience with design and construction administration of building structures, preferably both new construction and renovation of existing structures

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for building structures and related systems
• Perform structural analysis and design for Energy and Industrial structures and related systems
• Develop construction documents and provide construction administration services
• Perform site visits, client meetings, and coordination with the project team
