Job summary

Farnsworth Group, a nationally recognized architectural engineering and surveying firm, is seeking a Structural Engineer to join our team. You will provide customer-oriented design and construction services to clients nationwide, with opportunities for growth.

In this role you will perform structural analysis and design for building structures, develop construction documents, and participate in business development and client-facing activities, all while collaborating with a multidisciplinary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s (required) or Master’s degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering, with emphasis in structures.
• 3–7 years of structural engineering experience; Professional Engineer (PE) or Structural Engineer (SE) licensure preferred.
• Experience with design and construction administration of building structures, preferably both new construction and renovation of existing structures.
• Experience designing with common construction materials: steel, concrete, masonry and/or wood.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong team player in a multi-disciplinary environment that can manage and contribute to several projects simultaneously.
• Leadership qualities with ability to teach/train others.
• Revit proficiency preferred.

Responsibilities
