Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with a structural emphasis.
• 8+ years of structural engineering experience.
• Experience with UFC/UFGS and federal design standards.
• Experience leading multiple concurrent or large projects.
• Proficient in reinforced concrete and structural steel design.
• PE license or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
• Strong knowledge of ICC Building Codes, ASCE, ACI, and AISC.
• Experience with seismic design preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as structural technical lead for buildings and non-building structures on Federal projects.
• Support industrial and energy-related projects including foundations and equipment supports.
• Lead the structural design for new buildings, renovations, and utility facilities.
• Prepare reports, drawings, specifications, and related documents.
• Coordinate with EITs and designers for calculations and drawings.
• Visit construction sites to monitor progress.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and communicate design changes.
