Job summary

Stanley Consultants seeks a Senior Structural Engineer to lead design for transportation, industrial, energy, and federal projects. The role emphasizes technical leadership, collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, and mentoring high-performing staff across the United States.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a structural emphasis.
8+ years of structural engineering experience.
Experience with UFC/UFGS and other federal design standards.
Proven lead on multiple large projects with reinforced concrete and steel design.
PE license or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
Experience with foundations: spread footings, mat foundations, slabs, drilled piers, and deep foundation systems.

Responsibilities

Serve as structural technical lead for buildings and non-building structures on federal projects.
Lead design for buildings, renovations, and utility facilities.
Prepare reports, specifications, drawings, and project documentation.
Coordinate with EITs/designers and other disciplines.
Visit construction sites to monitor progress.
Assist in fee estimates, scopes of work, and design schedules.
