Job summary

Stanley Consultants is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer in Austin, TX, to lead structural designs for federal, industrial and energy projects. The role requires deep experience in foundations, reinforced concrete and structural steel, with coordination across disciplines on government projects.

You will act as a technical lead, collaborate with EITs and designers, and help prepare proposals, drawings, and calculations. Occasional CONUS/OCONUS travel and hybrid work arrangements apply.

Qualifications

• Requires strong experience in foundation design, reinforced concrete and structural steel.
• Experience with government design standards (UFC/UFGS).
• Proficient in designing to ICC, ASCE, ACI and AISC codes.
• PE license or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the structural technical lead on federal, industrial, and energy projects.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and interface with government representatives.
• Develop reports, specifications, drawings and related documentation.
• Visit construction sites to monitor progress and respond to RFIs.
• Assist in fee estimates, scopes of work and design schedules for proposals.
