Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer within the Advanced Manufacturing team to work on Data Center projects, including new builds, retrofits, and colocations. You will perform various structural engineering tasks and expand your design toolkit.

You will collaborate with a diverse team, coordinate with Jacobs offices worldwide, and grow technically toward leadership while traveling 10–20% to client sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering required.
• Registered Professional Engineer preferred or ability to become registered in additional states.
• 8+ years of professional experience in structural engineering.
• Knowledge of CAD software: AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, S3D.
• Familiarity with structural analysis software (RISA/STAAD) and design codes.

Responsibilities

• Performing a variety of analyses on structural projects.
• Creating computer models for structures and foundations.
• Calculating member designs and doing material take-offs for estimates; assisting with schedules.
