Job summary

NV5 is seeking a Sr. Structural Engineer for Building in St. Paul, MN. This hybrid role involves hands-on design of building projects, coordination with engineers and architects, budgeting, scheduling, and client communication.

Qualifications

B.S. degree in Civil/Structural Engineering; PE license preferred.
5+ years of structural engineering design experience (Concrete, Steel, Masonry, Wood).
Proficiency in ETABS, RISA, RAM Structural System, RAM Elements, RAM Concept, Enercalc, Excel; Revit experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with teams of engineers and architects to complete project deliverables.
Coordinate design work with other engineering and architectural disciplines.
Meet client expectations for budget and schedule while delivering a quality product.
Increase proficiency in design, modeling, and analysis software such as Revit, ETABS, RISA, RAM Suite, Enercalc, and Excel.
