NV5 in Saint Paul, MN invites a Structural Discipline Leader to act as the technical authority for structural engineering services, leading a local team and guiding projects from concept through construction.

You'll manage budgets, schedules, QA/QC, and client relations while expanding NV5's Midwest footprint in the structural market. The role requires PE license in Minnesota and 10+ years of experience with ETABS and RAM tools.

Formación

• B.S. in Civil or Structural Engineering; M.S. preferred.
• Active Professional Engineering (PE) license in Minnesota.
• 10+ years of structural engineering design experience (Concrete, Steel, Masonry, Wood).
• Proficiency in ETABS, RISA, RAM Structural System/Elements/Concept, Enercalc, and Excel.
• Revit experience a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Technical Authority: review and approve complex calculations, blueprints, and plans.
• Quality Assurance: enforce QA/QC to ensure safe, code-compliant designs.
• Team Leadership: hire, train, and mentor junior/mid-level engineers.
• Project Management: oversee budgets, schedules, and client communications.
• Cross-Team Collaboration: coordinate with architects and other engineering disciplines.
• Field Representation: attend sites and client meetings to manage expectations.
• Business Development Support: promote the service line and grow NV5's Midwest structural engineering services.
