Job summary

Gradiant seeks a Lead Structural Engineer to join its USA operations, leading structural design on water treatment projects, reviewing drawings from global centers, and coordinating with mechanical, piping, electrical, and instrumentation teams.

.Require 10–15 years in civil/structural engineering, EPC exposure, and strong client liaison skills. Travel will be required, and adherence to HSE standards is essential. Leadership and mentoring of junior engineers are part of the role.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Civil & Structural Engineering.
• 10+ years of Civil & Structural Engineering experience.
• 3+ years in a lead engineering role.
• Experience in EPC environment and international projects preferred.
• Proficiency with structural design, coordination across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural engineering for water and wastewater projects in the USA.
• Review drawings from Gradiant Global Engineering Center or external consultants.
• Coordinate with Mechanical, Piping, Electrical & Instrumentation teams.
• Ensure design complies with customer specs and regulatory approvals.
• Oversee structural calculations, 3D model reviews, GA drawings, and lifting analyses.
• Lead internal and external design reviews and mentor junior staff.
• Adhere to health, safety and environmental policies throughout projects.
