Job summary

Thornton Tomasetti is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer in our Forensics Practice to lead complex investigations, diagnose failures, and shape remediation strategies across a range of structures, while guiding junior staff and coordinating with clients.

You will develop technical reports, apply advanced engineering principles to non-routine issues, and expand project responsibilities within TT’s multidisciplinary environment, leveraging software tools and collaborative leadership.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in structural or forensic engineering.
• Ability to apply advanced engineering principles to non-routine failures and performance issues.
• Strong communication, leadership, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of forensic evaluations and develop robust reports.
• Provide technical guidance and day-to-day support for junior engineers and interns.
• Support client interactions, scopes, and project delivery within TT.
• Expand project exposure by engaging with clients and multidisciplinary teams.
