Thornton Tomasetti, a global engineering firm, seeks a Structural Engineer for its Forensics Practice in Newark, NJ. You will investigate structural performance issues, conduct failure analyses, and evaluate damage from events, contributing to investigations, expert reporting, litigation support, and remediation design.

You will work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment, growing technical and leadership skills within TT’s culture and opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• Experience with forensic investigation techniques or structural analysis tools.
• Strong communication and collaborative mindset.
• Detail-oriented with strong quality checks of engineering work.

Responsabilités

• Conduct structural analysis and diagnostic evaluations for damaged or distressed structures.
• Prepare clear, detailed reports and visual documentation for technical and legal audiences.
• Participate in site inspections and field investigations, including evidence collection.
• Support technical investigations, expert reporting, litigation support, and remediation design.
