Job summary

EXP is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to lead buildings projects with a flexible location in the United States. You will join a team of engineers, architects and designers delivering structural solutions for diverse markets.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s or Bachelor’s in Structural Engineering with 8 years of building design experience, PE licensure, and strong RAM, RISA, ETABS and Revit skills, plus excellent written and verbal communication.

Qualifications

• Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Structural Engineering with 8 years of experience focused on building design.
• Solid understanding of RAM, RISA and ETABS.
• Strong Revit skills for modeling and sheet creation; family creation and templates a plus.
• Professional Engineering licensure is required; Structural I/II and Gravity/Lateral preferred.
• Master’s degree preferred; Civil Engineering with emphasis on structures acceptable as minimum.

Responsibilities

• Self-perform and/or supervise design work from schematic through construction administration.
• Produce calculations, sketches, drawings, specifications and multi-discipline coordination.
• Conduct observations of existing conditions in the field and from historical drawings.
• Coordinate work across multiple EXP offices and external subconsultants.
• Travel occasionally to project sites, often overnight for short durations.
