Job summary

Mayta + Sebastian Architecture D.P.C. is seeking a Licensed Professional Engineer / Project Engineer with 7+ years of experience in facade restoration, NYC FISP, PIPS, and related building envelope work.

The candidate will plan, coordinate, and implement projects within budget and schedule, communicate with clients and contractors, provide mentorship to junior staff, and travel to job sites. A strong technical background and independence are essential.

Qualifications

• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) with 7+ years of experience in facade restoration and related NYC programs.
• Experience with historic preservation, restoration, and building envelope projects is required.
• Revit and PlanGrid experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define scope, budget, and schedule with clients.
• Develop construction documents and specifications.
• Travel to job sites and lead progress meetings.
• Perform structural analyses and design in accordance with codes.
