Job summary

ACS Professional Staffing seeks a Senior Structural Engineer - Discipline Lead for a client providing full-service engineering and architectural design solutions. This role will lead structural engineering standards, quality assurance initiatives, and multidisciplinary project execution while serving as the organization's primary technical authority.

Qualifications

Candidate must hold a Professional Engineer license (PE).
10+ years of post-graduate structural design experience.
Experience leading structural design teams and mentoring staff.
Strong knowledge of building codes and value engineering practices.
Proficiency with design software and drafting tools (Revit, Bluebeam, Enercalc/RISA).

Responsibilities

Lead development and maintenance of structural design and documentation standards.
Act as primary technical resource for structural matters and dispute resolution.
Mentor and develop structural team capabilities and assess technical competency.
Collaborate with discipline leads to establish best practices across teams.
Lead staff through project design and construction phases and respond to field issues.
