ACS Professional Staffing seeks a Senior Structural Engineer - Discipline Lead for a client providing full-service engineering and architectural design solutions. Located in Vancouver, WA, the role requires 10+ years of structural design experience and a PE license, with SE designation a plus, leading QA initiatives and technical standards.

Qualifications

• Professional Engineer (PE) licensed; SE designation a plus.
• 10+ years of structural design experience post-graduation.
• Strong knowledge of building codes and value engineering.
• Experience leading a structural team and cross-discipline coordination.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and maintenance of structural design standards and documentation.
• Monitor QA processes, peer reviews, and constructability feedback.
• Serve as primary technical authority for structural matters and dispute resolution.
• Identify mentorship and continuing education opportunities within the team.
• Evaluate structural candidates and support leadership assessments of technical competency.
• Collaborate with other Discipline Leads to establish best practices.
• Lead structural design staff through project design and construction phases.
• Work in a multi-discipline team to develop structural concepts, drawings, and specs.
• Respond to contractors during construction.
