Job summary

You will perform structural analyses and design computations for concrete and steel, develop 2D/3D models, review shop drawings, and contribute to project deliverables under the guidance of senior engineers and project managers.

The ideal candidate holds a Master's in Civil Engineering with a Structural focus, is a Colorado-licensed Professional Engineer, and has 6–11 years of experience.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Civil Engineering with emphasis in Structural Engineering.
• Colorado Professional Engineer license required.
• 6–11 years of engineering experience in structural design.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural computations for design and analysis of concrete, steel or other structures.
• Create analysis models and interpret results for 2D and 3D frames.
• Assist with construction administration tasks including site visits and shop drawing review.
• Understand load paths for gravity and lateral loads and calculate applicable loads per building codes.
• Assist with design drawings, quantities, cost estimates, specifications, reports and other deliverables with the structures team.
• Prepare technical studies and reports.
