Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a senior structural engineer to lead a portfolio of data center projects, guiding design strategy, and coordinating with cross-functional teams. The role blends technical authority with client-facing leadership across construction and design phases.

You will mentor team members, influence project delivery, and help define the next generation of data center infrastructure, with a hybrid work model and global collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering required.
• Master of Science in Engineering preferred.
• Registered Professional Engineer (PE) or ability to become registered in additional states.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality reviews of complex projects.
• Lead complex structural analyses and select appropriate methodologies.
• Develop and validate advanced structural computer models and mentoring team in simulation techniques.
• Oversee key calculations for member design and foundations; direct material take-offs and inputs; provide governance for schedules and documentation.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams and speak with clients and management on project status.
