Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer within our Advanced Manufacturing team to work on data center projects, including new builds, retrofits, and colocations. You will perform diverse structural engineering tasks and coordinate with Jacobs offices globally to deliver quality outcomes.

You’ll grow technically and grow into leadership roles, while traveling 10–20% to client sites and collaborating with a diverse team of engineers and designers across projects nationwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 8+ years of professional experience in structural engineering.
• Registered Professional Engineer with ability to become registered in additional states.
• Proficiency with CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, S3D) and structural analysis tools (RISA, STAAD).

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of analyses for structural projects.
• Create computer models for structures and perform member design calculations.
• Coordinate with internal teams and clients to deliver projects on time and on budget.
