Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer for its Advanced Manufacturing team in the United States. You will contribute to data center projects, including new builds and retrofits, by performing structural engineering tasks and expanding your design toolset.

You will collaborate with a diverse team across Jacobs offices and sites, with travel 10–20% as needed, and grow technically while leading and delivering projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering required.
• 8+ years of professional structural engineering experience.
• Registered Professional Engineer with potential to register in additional states.
• Proficiency with AutoCad, Revit, MicroStation and S3D.
• Experience with RISA or STAAD for structural analysis.
• Knowledge of ACI, AISC, ASCE 7 and related design codes.
• Knowledge of Building Codes and MS Office/Teams for coordination.
• Ability to travel 10–20% to client sites.

Responsibilities

• Perform analyses on a variety of structural projects.
• Create computer models for structures.
• Calculate member designs and foundations; assist with schedules and take-offs.
