Job summary

W3Global is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to lead dam safety, hydroelectric facilities, and hydraulic structures projects. You will oversee technical teams, mentor engineers, and collaborate with regulatory agencies and clients across the Northeast/Mid-Atlantic region.

Requirements include 15–25 years of structural experience, PE licensure with reciprocity, and expertise in concrete/steel design, dams, and hydraulic structures. Travel is required; remote candidates are accepted.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil or Structural Engineering (ABET accredited) is required.
• MS preferred for advanced design and analysis roles.
• Active PE licensure with ability to obtain reciprocity in multiple states.
• 15-25 years of structural engineering experience in dam safety, hydroelectric facilities, and hydraulic structures.
• Experience with concrete and steel structural design and project management.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary engineering teams on dam safety and hydroelectric projects.
• Mentor junior engineers and oversee QA/QC reviews.
• Manage project scheduling and budget; coordinate with clients and regulatory agencies.
• Prepare proposals and support business development; engage in client meetings and regulatory discussions.
