Job summary

DLR Group is seeking a Structural Engineer to participate in design from schematics through construction administration. You will prepare detailed drawings, perform calculations, and contribute to integrated design with architects and clients across the US.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in structural engineering, a PE license (CA SE preferred), and strong BIM(Revit) experience to support sustainable project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural/Architectural Engineering required; Master’s preferred.
• 7+ years building-related structural engineering experience including concrete, masonry, steel and wood.
• Licensed PE; CA SE preferred and BIM (Revit) experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop structural solutions from concept through construction.
• Create system layouts, narratives, calculations, and engineering reports.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and clients in an integrated design process.
• Review shop drawings, RFIs, and participate in O/A/C meetings.
• Mentor entry-level staff and promote standards across the practice.
