Job summary

MSA Professional Services seeks a Senior Project Engineer – Structural to lead planning and design of building structures for municipalities and infrastructure clients. Based in WI/IL/MN/IA offices, you will mentor engineers, coordinate across civil/environmental/architectural teams, and drive projects from concept to construction.

The role emphasizes technical leadership, client liaison, budgeting, and risk mitigation, with hybrid/remote options where possible.

Qualifications

• PE license required; SE preferred.
• 10+ years post-graduate experience (8+ with MS).
• Bachelor ABET-accredited in structural/related field.
• Strong proficiency in Revit and structural analysis software.
• Ability to manage multi-phase projects and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Plan and design structural systems with high autonomy and technical judgment.
• Perform and validate advanced engineering calculations and analyses.
• Develop construction documents, specs, and technical reports.
• Oversee QA/QC reviews and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Provide field oversight during investigations and construction, resolving complex issues.
