STV, Inc. in Chicago, IL is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join our Transportation practice. Lead projects for bridges and related infrastructure, leveraging an Illinois SE license and extensive design experience.

You will mentor engineers, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and collaborate with agencies and clients from planning through final design. Strong technical writing and communication are essential.

Qualifikationen

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering from an accredited program.

Aufgaben

Lead structural engineering tasks for highway, transit, rail across planning to construction.
Develop designs for steel and concrete bridges, foundations, retaining walls, culverts.
Prepare and review calculations, design memos, reports, quantities, cost estimates.
Mentor junior engineers; coordinate multidisciplinary teams and staff.
Attend client meetings and perform project-site visits as needed.
Advance design standards and reusable tools for bridge and rail projects.
